The 11th Hour

Thank god that the movement against global warming is picking up speed. I have never had much time for Hollywood-type actors and actresses, but I am changing my viewpoint on some of them. Leonardo DiCaprio is the latest to add his weight to the movement against global warming with his movie entitled "The 11th Hour".

"Global warming is not only the number one environmental challenge we face today, but one of the most important issues facing all of humanity ... We all have to do our part to raise awareness about global warming and the problems we as a people face in promoting a sustainable environmental future for our planet." said DiCaprio.

Good for you, Leonardo. I would also like to point out two points here since there has been a large amount of idiotic thought processes I have had the misfortune to read about thus far on the internet. Firstly, it does not really matter what DiCaprio's motivation is, he is making a difference and might sway the right people at the right time. Secondly, if global warming is "a load of hogwash" why is nobody making movies about that? You may also ask yourself the question why is the world weather patterns changing at great speed? I really would like to know the alternative explanation, backed up by scientific proof of course.

Are you making a difference that your kids can be proud of or that they at least will not be ashamed of?
